The Satanic Temple Kentucky is the state of Kentucky’s official congreagtion under TST. We are a group of Satanists from all across the Bluegrass who abide by the seven fundamental tenets in our religious practice.
While we are practioners of religious Satanism, we are non-theistic and do not believe in a literal Satan as a being. Rather, we hold Satan as a metaphor and literary figure who embodies our sincerely held beliefs including, but not limited to, freedom from theocracy, tyranny, and freedom of bodily autonomy.
We are a religious community first and foremost – not an activist group. However, activism and political involvement is often a product of our religious beliefs in the forms of various good works campaigns.
Friends and allies who do not identify themselves as Satanists are always welcome to participate in donating to various campaigns and to publicly hosted events.
We ask that all friends and allies simply abide by our rules and be respectful of the religious space when attending events, posting in social media forums, etc. We love sharing knowledge and all sincerely asked questions are welcome!
